Bronx man Owen Dillard didn’t have long to live. A doctor told him that he had 3 years to live and he was just trying to make it day by day. Dillard was a giving man as he had hit the lottery twice. The New York Post shared that Dillard had won a $10,000 lotto drawing in April and about six months ago he scored a prize of $50,000 from playing the lottery’s Win 4 game. A chef by trade, Dillard acted as a money lender to people. He was always willing to help those in need.
Sadly, Dillard was fatally stabbed in his home and police believed his nephew, Idris Abdul-Muhaymin, is responsible. Before Idris Abdul-Muhaymin could be arrested for the murder of Dillard, he fatally stabbed someone else.
Owen Dillard was 73 years old and terminally ill. He had just won the lottery, and would hand out money to random kids on the street. Monday night he was stabbed to death. https://t.co/6GluqUxYg7

Dillard had won a $10,000 lotto drawing in April, and about six months ago he scored a prize of $50,000 from playing the lottery’s Win 4 game, his nephew and neighbor said.
My uncle was a sharing man, a giving man. He plays the lottery, gambles, Dillard’s nephew Shabazz Muhaymin, 50, said to the NY Post. A lot of people in this neighborhood know him — the neighborhood is now broken without him.
While one nephew praised Dillard for being a giving man but his other nephew allegedly murdered him.
