Fox News: Police Will Shoot Black People On ‘Regular Basis’ Unless Black Lives Matter Is Condemned

Aug 19, 2014 - Ferguson, Missouri, U.S. - Protests raise their hands and chant the popular slogan ''Hands up, don't shoot'' as they march along West Florissant Avenue. Fox News has made a name for itself by opposing any and all struggles for equality and justice. Now, in the wake of the police murder of Korryn Gaines, Fox’s “angry white woman,” Tomi Lahren, spews another anti-Black Lives Matter rant, this time even suggesting that Black Lives Matter (BLM) is to blame for the death of Korynn Gaines.

According to Travis Gettys of Raw Story, Lahren, who hosts a show on the Glenn Beck channel, The Blaze, complained that Black Lives Matter activists had rallied around Korynn Gaines, a black woman shot and killed by police following a lengthy armed standoff that she partially broadcast on social media.

Lahren says in the video below, “Who the hell would do that? Is that the definition of your Black Lives Matter? And what about the black life of her son, she used him as a tool, a prop, in her video — real mother of the year there. Is this the kind of thing that Black Lives Matter wants to get behind?”

It appears that Lahren is not aware that making a video like this is exactly what can make a difference to protect others. People have to see how the police are acting. If people cannot see it, then they do not know that it happened. If they do not know that it happened, then they cannot respond appropriately. Maybe in Lahren’s world, it is not necessary, but she lives in a different world than an struggling black woman.

“Gaines and her boyfriend are criminals, they’re instigators — are they really the face of your movement?” Lahren asked. “If not, speak the hell up.”

Lahren argues that police violence against black people is justified. Not only justified, but it is the fault of the BLM movement. She continually tells civil rights activists to “speak the hell up”, maybe Lahren needs to “shut the hell up.”

“Do you want others in your community to incite deadly force and get shot? If not, speak the hell up,” Lahren said, bouncing in her seat for emphasis.

“Do you want toddlers caught up in the crossfire, listening to their mother threaten police? If not, speak the hell up. Hate is taught, victimhood is taught.”

Gettys continues, “Lahren continued thrashing a series of strawman arguments to justify police violence against black suspects.”

“The notion that a black suspect can do no wrong and is always the victim is B.S. This doesn’t end well for anyone — anyone,” she said, leaning into the camera, “All lives matter, so speak the hell up before this kind of thing starts happening on a regular basis. Is it worth a hashtag or a riot in your name to lose your life? If not, speak the hell up. You’re killing yourselves and your communities, but you’re so caught up in your victimhood and your self-righteous B.S. you don’t see it. Tell me your gangs, are they worth the loss?”

The BLM movement is NOT responsible for police shooting and killing a woman they were after for traffic violation.

The BLM movement is NOT responsible for her 5 year old son being shot by police while he was running from them out of fear. Lahren’s comments are ridiculous and maybe she needs to “shut the hell up.”

The police are responsible for their actions, not a civil rights movement fighting to stop police prejudice against them.

But should we expect anything less from someone on a Glenn Beck supported channel?
