  1. Taking action about things that matter is sooooo sexy! ~The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for enough good men to do nothing.- Edmund Burke

The Mother[s] of Crazy Horse / Red Cloud / Black Kettle, et al are smiling w/Joy <3 …

  2. A crisp warning of what's to come and perhaps the most powerful contemporary call for diunital consciousness. She carries on the work of Vernon J. Dixon set forth in his book Beyond Black or White from which major themes show up in this brief interview, such as the switch from dichotomous to diunital view, working within our own lane, the important teaching from Kuhn's The Structure of Scientific Revolutions. Dr. DeGruy brings Dixon's work from 1971 to the global, interconnected world of today. I'd love to interview her for my radio show and podcast!

  3. The video is only the tool, the outlets (social media) is what's pushing everything to the forefront. I applaud you for this interview! Thank you.

  4. Oh my goodness Dr. Joy Degruy is so right.  China & Domestic "Wealthy" Global Leaders are buying/leasing land in Africa due to the underground reservior abundant supply of water.

  5. I like what Dr. Joy said about "staying in her lane, but being the best at what she does". No one expects any one person to have the answer or solution to it all. There is much work to be done and there is plenty of opportunity for every one to do their part whether large or small. If you can speak at community forums or town hall meetings – be a voice, if you have a child in school get involved with the school board, if you can pass out flyers or brochures for events that inform and elevate us then be your best at it. All it takes is a heartfelt desire to want "real" change and you can be a part of it. Don't wait for someone to fix it for us. Check out: iamoneofthemillion.com and get in where you fit in, there is plenty good room. Peace cb

  6. Trust and believe, I will share this. and continue to do so. Yes the whole world is watching. When America label those of a certain ethnicity as Terrorists, but exclude their own people when they commit the same, if not worse, acts. The whole world is watching.

  7. black men and women with children…make simple affirmations type them on white paper ….pass them out to children coming out of school inform the child to memorize these affirmation and to all black teachers of that same school…ask him or her to post in class and have the children recite it when they come in …and before dismissal…do this every week…we do need to have the village movement…and it's starts with OUR children..FOR EXAMPLE…
    I AM A QUEEN
    I AM BLACK AND BEAUTIFUL..
I HOLD THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD…
    MY SMILE IS CONTAGIOUS
ALL OF MY CLASSMATES ARE SMART AND BEAUTIFUL
    MY MOTHER IS A QUEEN
    MY FATHER IS A KING
MY HAIR IS COARSE AND BEAUTIFUL
    I AM VERY INTELLIGENT
    I STUDY VERY HARD
I LOVE MY CLASSMATES BECAUSE WE ARE ALL BLACK AND BEAUTIFUL..

  8. WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT? AND WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ILLITERATE NEGRO AGREEING TO? CONTINUOUSLY, CONCURRING, YEAH, YEAH, RIGHT, RIGHT….. SEEMS TO ME THIS PSEUDOINTELLECTUAL NEGRO, NEEDS TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL, OR GO HIT THE STREETS AND DO HIS HUSTLE, WETHER ITS PIMPIN OR SELLING CRACK……..AND BY THE WAY,..WHAT COUNTRY IS THIS WOMAN THE QUEEN OF?……GROW THE FUCK UP, AND START SKEAKING LIKE INTELLIGENT HUMAN BEINGS.

  9. I love the idea of "Step in a gap" or "step in a lane". We all need to use our individual talents to bring about the cultural/psychological/economic/etc. revolution.

  10. I just discovered Dr. Joy today via Afropunk newsfeed on FB!! …..5 lectures later? I'm like …black folks —(entertainers included)globally need to simply Stop Talking…and  pay close attention to the message that the good Doctor is informing us about…especially within this particular interview…. What an amazing woman!! Brotha Berry, I hear ya…I see ya. Great interview! What ever us brothers can do to assist one another…I'm here….as your youtube page deserves way more views than 19k. Peace & love.
