A post-secondary education certainly improves your chances of finding a high-paying job. However, because of life’s many challenges, many do not have the opportunity, time, or money to attend a 4-year college to earn a Bachelor’s Degree. Due to rising tuition costs across America and more concern about lingering debt from school loans, many African Americans are considering management roles and higher-ranking positions in their respective fields as an alternative career path to college. And with an unwavering drive to their goals, there are countless examples of hard workers who are excelling and earning paychecks that are higher than the national average regardless of education level.
