63 Year Old White Women Spits On Transit Officer Upset Has To Take Orders From Black Man
A Nashville woman still angry over the election of President Obama spat on a black transit officer and called him a “f—–g n—-r,” police said.
The transit security guard had asked Angela Fiume, 63, to leave Riverfront Station when she blew up over not finding clear directions to a bus or train on Tuesday, an arrest affidavit showed. Fiume said she had been banned from Greyhound the night before and needed to know where to go.
The officer’s order to leave the station made her angry and belligerent, according to Nashville police. She began hurling slurs at the guard and spitting on his face, police said.
“She was upset because Obama had become president and she refused to let a black man tell her what to do,” a witness told police officers called to the First Ave. South station, the arresting documents showed.
Police said Fiume admitted to spitting in the guard’s face and kept cursing and using racial slurs toward him even after the officers arrived.
She now faces charges of assault and disorderly conduct, according to county records. Fiume remained incarcerated Thursday in Nashville’s Metro Detention Facility on a $27,500 bond, and she’s due back in court Monday morning.
